Odd Jobs

The Hilariously Awk-Word Card Game

Describe ridiculous jobs. Guess before time runs out.

This card game is in development and not yet available for purchase. Stay tuned!

How to Play Odd Jobs

(3 or more players. Recommended age 16 or older.)

The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.

Play as many rounds as you want, making sure everyone gets equal turns. Players take turns in a clockwise order.

You need a timer. Turns are 90 seconds.

On your turn:

Draw one card from the blue deck and from the orange deck. The pair of words on the cards creates an “odd job.” Example: “Odor Smuggler."

Cards Odor Smuggler

Describe the odd job to the other players without using the words on the cards. (If you accidentally speak a card word, discard the pair and draw a new pair.)

The other players guess the odd job.

When both words of an odd job are correctly guessed, give the guesser one card and keep one card for yourself. (It does not matter which one.)

Draw card pairs and describe as many odd jobs as you can in 90 seconds.

Before you play, decide if you will allow “close enough” guesses, or whether guesses must be a perfect match.

Game Mode 2:
Get Into Character
For increased difficulty, instead of describing the odd job, get into character. Imagine actually doing the job and describe what is happening at that moment.
